Rangitukia is situated on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. 8Km east off Tikitiki off state highway 35 and approximately two hours south of Gisborne.

Rangitukia is famous for its native bush, traditional Ngati Porou culture and its long isolated beach packed with drift wood from Mount Hikurangi. This part of the East Coast is unspoiled and the first in the world to see the sun rise over the Pacific Ocean.

This part of New Zealand is not only unspoiled for its nature and culture, but you will not come across many tourists. It is really off the beaten track and is therefore a challenge to discover.
